Welcome to Walks, Talks & Joining
Non-members are very welcome to most events. ( A few are marked members only.)
Indoor meetings and
talks are held at Halifax Central Library, Northgate*, Halifax. They start at 7.15pm
in Rooms 1 and 2 in the comfortable Library Basement. Lift access is available. Talks are on the second Tuesday of each
month. There is a retiring collection to
offset our expenses.
*Halifax Central Library is due to
relocate in Spring 2017.
led by experienced Naturalists and whilst every care is taken to minimise
hazards,participants join at their own risk. The walks are categorised as Ambles, Rambles
and Hikes which vary in length and difficulty.
Most walks meet at 10:30 for a 10:40 start. Bring a packed lunch, all-weather clothing
and strong footwear. Donations are
welcomed to offset expenses.
